At G.S.P.V. de Ramenlappers you can sign up for several competitions during the year, namely the fall, spring and summer competition. Competitions offer padel players a lot of fun because you are playing together with a team. You also develop further as a padel player because of the competition experience you gain!
A competition lasts 5 weekends with some weekends in between. You play during these matches for rating, but of course, most importantly, also for the poule win! In the lower classes you play against several padel clubs in the north of the Netherlands. There is competition for every level whether you are just starting out or have years of experience. The RTC assigns you to a suitable team and the KNLTB makes sure your team is assigned to a suitable class.
At the Ramenlappers you pay +/- 35 euros for playing competition.
Capacity Limit Competition
With our two courts, we can only accommodate a limited number of teams on game days. With our growing membership, there is an increasing likelihood that we will exceed the estimated capacity limit of 84 (14 teams, about 6 players each) players. If this limit is slightly exceeded, we will look into the possibility of including more players in the low playing league teams. However, if the number of applications is so high that even this does not offer a solution, we are forced to select members based on level and then time of application. If the number of members refused for competition is large enough, we will look into the possibility of starting an internal competition on Friday nights.
